Used Peugeot Expert Tepee

The Expert Tepee was launched back in 2007 by renowned French automaker Renault, and since then, it has been garnering a lot of positive feedback from critics and consumers alike. It makes a very spacious vehicle, as well as a very smart choice because of its good value. The Expert Tepee is based on the Expert van that was released also in 2007; only now, it comes with a flat floor, and you also get a choice of length that can vary up to 9 seats. Engine choices are either the 90 bhp 1.6 HDi or the 120 bhp 2.0 HDi. For those who are on a budget, then it is better to go with the 1.6L engine, which can still get you running up to 62 mph from standstill in a decent enough 18.5 seconds. If you go with the long wheelbase 5/6 seat versions, this would take 19 seconds; while the long wheelbase 8/9 seat versions would take 20.7 seconds. On the other hand, the 120 bhp engine takes just 13.5 to 14.7 seconds to reach 62 mph, depending on the configuration and the wheelbase of the van, of course. Top speed for the 1.6L is 90 mph, while 99 mph for the 120 bhp version. The van comes with underpinnings that sufficiently support heavy load. Still, these are not enough to give the passengers optimum comfort. Not to worry though because the used Peugeot Expert Tepee still gives a very decent ride on smooth tarmac. It is just when you are faced with rough surfaces that suspension would need a little tweaking. Steering is precise and direct – even more than you would expect from commercial vehicles. Moreover, you do not experience that much bodyroll when making corners. You get lots of room in the Expert Tepee, though there might be times when the two people sharing the twin front passenger seat might find it just too crowded. You might want to go for the single front passenger seat for this, and this does not come with additional costs at all. As for equipment, the Comfort models offer automatic door locking, driver’s airbag, electric front windows, height and reach-adjustable steering column, Isofix child seat mounting points on the outer rear seats, and a CD/radio player with controls mounted on the steering wheel. The Leisure models come with front passenger airbags, side airbags, air conditioning, electric folding door mirrors, front fog lights, and heated rear window with wiper. Optional features include satellite navigation and alloy wheels. Driver’s airbag and antilock brakes are the only safety features fitted as standard. Options include curtain airbags and electronic stability control.
